This train journey is a very special experience. The Treno Gottardo takes you along the Gotthard panoramic route to Göschenen. Continue with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway up to Realp. This is where the impressive journey on the Furka mountain steam train begins. The route takes you through the untouched nature of the Swiss Alps. After arriving in Oberwald in Goms, you continue by post bus over the Nufenen Pass to Airolo, where you change to the Treno Gottardo for the journey home.
