Bratwurst tasting | Brauwerk Restaurant

Description

It is considered the most famous product of eastern Switzerland: the St. Gallen bratwurst! The recipe for this sausage was first mentioned as early as 1438. But what do we actually know about this culinary treasure? What ingredients does the sausage contain, and why is it enjoyed without mustard? And the question of all questions is: who produces the best St. Gallen bratwurst?

The tasting seminar is literally all about sausage. We will introduce you to this emotional topic in a playful way and reveal its secrets. You will have the unique opportunity to taste bratwursts from different producers side by side and decide which one is your favorite.

Our tasting leaders Josef Niedermann & Andreas Koller from the St. Gallen Bratwurst variety organization will explain the subtle differences to you. To accompany the tasting, you will enjoy a beer from the Schützengarten brewery, which goes perfectly with the bratwurst, and a crispy Bürli roll that will make your taste buds dance.

The price of CHF 49.00 includes: 1 drink (1 soft drink or 1 beer) per person, bread roll, bratwurst tasting.
