Wheelchair circular trail Engstligenalp

With its wide meadowlands, cascading waterfalls, breathtaking panoramic views and its long established "mountain traditions", Engstligenalp has won a place in the 1996 Swiss Cultural Survey as a place of national significance.

The 2000m high plateau is connected by a cable-car and serves as a starting point for many walking trails and mountain tours. The flat, uninterrupted circular trail begins conveniently close the mountain station. It leads across the high plateau, past chattering mountain streams, grazing cows and homely mountain huts back to the starting point.
