Wanderung Valle Verzasca

Take the post bus from Locarno to Sonogno - the furthest village in the Verzasca Valley - and then just follow the Verzasca hiking trail (no. 74, Sentiero Verzasca) for as long as you like. The walk to Lavertezzo takes about 3.5 hours. Expect intoxicating water features, dense chestnut forests, magnificent mountain panoramas and many quaint grotti with the finest local specialities. And when you have had enough of hiking, take the post bus from the next bus stop.
