Description

A leisurely walk leads from the watershed to the Gürbefall and back the same way. Starting points are the parking lots at the Wasserscheide, at the lower Türlibode or the post bus stop.

The wide alpine path leads past the Skiliftrestaurant, which is also open in summer, and on towards Alp Chueberg. After crossing the first stream ditch, you reach the still small Gürbe via alpine meadows. In early summer, the Gürbe falls spectacularly over the limestone cliffs of the Tschingelfluh at the top right.

With a bit of luck, fossilized shells can be discovered in the scree. A memorial plaque on the large boulder in the alpine meadow commemorates an avalanche accident in 1946 in which two brothers lost their lives - hence the name "Bös Tritt".

The way back is along the same route, past the Chüebärg alp, where in summer a café invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
