Via Ferrata La Resgia

Description
The via ferrata La Resgia is located at the end of Pontresina (towards the Bernina Pass on the left side of the valley). At the waterfall, the via ferrata goes up towards Alp Languard. Highlights are the "Eagle's Nest", where it briefly overhangs, and the "Spider's Web", where it gets a bit wobbly. Arm strength is required at these key sections. The key section "Eagle's Nest" can be bypassed via an easier variant (K3). The end point is a good 15-minute walk below the Alp Languard mountain restaurant.
Access: The footpath to the start is well signposted, it takes about 20 minutes from the village centre of Pontresina. There is a new access directly on the left behind the Hotel Palü, do not use the old trail!
Descent: After the via ferrata La Resgia you can either hike up to Alp Languard and from there take the chairlift to Pontresina or descend directly on the Röntgenweg. If you still haven't had enough of the via ferrata, you can reach the start of the Languard via ferrata in 10 to 15 minutes. Another 90 metres in altitude with a length of 200 metres and a good 15-metre-long rope walkway as a highlight.
