Description

Once around Lake Thun on two wheels? The circuit features roughly equivalent climbs and descents in both directions. This route is ideal for racing bikes, everyday bikes, and road e-bikes. From Spiez, the slightly downhill road to Thun offers the easier start. The approximately 49-kilometer route runs directly along the shore for about three-quarters of the distance. Between Därligen and Faulensee, there is a paved bike path between the highway and Lake Thun; otherwise, the route follows the main road, mostly with bike lanes. Those who want to add more climbs can make a detour via Aeschi, Beatenberg, Sigriswil, or Heiligenschwendi.
