After starting by Lake Lugano in Ponte Tresa, ride uphill on a dirt road through the woods. The route continues uphill and downhill through picturesque villages. Outside the town centres you’ll see lots of modern architecture, but in the heart of the villages you’ll feel like you’ve taken a step back in time.
