Tour around Heiden

From Heiden, take the hiking trail in the direction of Grub AR to the Mattenbachtobel ravine. Since the end of April 2019, a spectacular suspended bridge has connected the two sister municipalities of Grub AR and Grub SG. The tour then continues on to its highlight – Fünfländerblick, a viewpoint overlooking five “countries” (Switzerland, Austria, Bavaria, Württemberg and Baden). The views of Lake Constance and our neighbouring countries are breathtaking. And the Rossbüchel inn or restaurant Treichli are always worth a little detour. The trail then leads through forests and meadows to Wartensee Castle. From there, you can travel back to Heiden by train in comfort.
