Tiermatti cross-country ski trail

The circuit between Grimmialp and Zwischenflüh offers various starting points and lets you put together your own tour as you wish. The Diemtigtaler cross-country trails lead you along mountain streams, through snow-covered forests and over untouched meadows and let you glide weightlessly and rhythmically through the snow.

The Tiermatti trail leads over flat, technically easy terrain. On the one hand, the trail runs along the huge debris cone of the Balmigraben, where the farms of the Thiermatten (now Tiermatti) are located, and on the other hand in the area of a silted-up former lake, the Seebode. It is the sunniest of the three Diemtigtal cross-country ski trails.
