Thal wine-growing trail

The Thaler Rebkulturweg leads along the ridge and around the southern side of the Buechberg. Twelve stations along the themed trail provide historical and current information on viticulture, ecology and geology of the Buechberg region. 

The walk takes about 1-2 hours and isn’t just interesting for adults, kids are also welcome. The lower part of the informational boards folds out and is specially designed for children. They can guess which tracks belong to which animals, they can invent stories or identify silhouettes. 

In the immediate vicinity, there are restaurants, a picnic area and an observation platform with a magnificent view over the region.

The Rebkulturweg can be reached by public transport via the PostBus stops Buriet, Nagelstein, Linde, Löwen and Alte Post. Parking is available at the Nagelstein car park and in the village of Thal.
