Sparenmoos Run NR. 722: Sparenmoos - Heimchueweid

Sparenmoos is located on a plateau above Zweisimmen and is 1,640 metres above sea level. This high moorland area is considered to be a landscape of national importance with its multitude of scenic gems.

Take the bus from the Zweisimmen train station to the starting point near the Berghotel Sparenmoos. On the first part of this toboggan run you have continual views of the Simmental valley. The route takes you across snow-covered meadows and through wooded areas. Since it is not very steep between the starting point and Heimchueweid it is suitable for families.  From here a bus takes you back to the start or to the village of Zweisimmen.
