Sörenberg - Bleikenchopf - Flühli

Description
The hike begins in the popular holiday resort of Sörenberg, nestled between Schrattenfluh and Brienzer Rothorn. From here, the path steadily climbs to the Hagleren. The ascent is partly steep but manageable – rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view of the Bernese Oberland, the Schrattenfluh, and on clear days, up to the four-thousanders of the Alps.
At the top of the Hagleren, not only the view awaits but also a special natural experience: the path continues over a beautiful raised bog area located on the ridge between Lucerne and Obwalden. Silence, wide moorlands, and a surprisingly alpine feeling characterize this section up to the Bleikenchopf – a small summit with a worthwhile panoramic view.
From there, the path descends towards Gitziloch, a distinctive rocky terrain hollow. A short break is worthwhile here before the path continues toward Chessiloch – a small gorge that appears especially mystical due to its moss-covered rocks and shady paths.
The last section leads comfortably to Flühli, where the route can be relaxedly concluded. Those who wish can stop there or take the post bus back to Sörenberg.
