SNOOC - Longest sledge run in the world - "Big Pintenfritz

The starting point on First is reached from Grindelwald by cable car in about 20 minutes. From there a marked winter hiking trail leads in just over 2 hours past the Bachalpsee to the Faulhorn - the highest point on this tour. In addition to the opportunity to take a breather, up here there is a unique panoramic view over many parts of Switzerland. The highlight follows at the end, the descent towards Bussalp and Grindelwald, where a total of 15 kilometres and 1600 metres in altitude are covered.By the way, the special name Big Pintenfritz is due to the legendary innkeeper Fritz Bohren, who ran the "Pinte" (Hotel Bellevue) as well as the mountain hotel Faulhorn in Grindelwald.
