The mountain village of Mürren is considered the birthplace of alpine skiing. But sledging fans also get their money's worth in the Schilthorn area, including on this trail, which has been in operation since the 2104/15 winter season. The 4-seater chairlift (behind the Schilthorn cable car station Mürren) glides up in a short time to the starting point Schiltgrat, where a divine view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is offered for the first time. On the first sections the sleds really take off. Depending on the snow conditions, the second part is a bit slower. After passing the sun-tanned chalet of "Gimmela", the original Mürren comes into view again. Through the snowy forest you finally arrive back down in the village.
