Ski tour over the Oberalpstock in the Glarus Alps

The Oberalpstock is relatively quickly reachable from Disentis with lift support, is one of the most beautiful ski mountains of the Alps, and the descent through the Val Strem has long been a classic. Yet the skiing enjoyment can be topped: the north-facing descent over the Staldenfirn into the Maderanertal delights with around 2500 meters of vertical drop – that is absolutely record-breaking.
