Description

At the train stop in Segnas we hike up to the village first. During the French raid in 1799, Segnas was spared from fires, which is why the farmhouses, now several hundred years old, have been preserved. On the road up to the alp Run Cunel we go comfortably uphill, then we change to a hiking trail that leads us after some hairpin bends to the Mises dil Bostg. It is the highest point of the hike, a reason to take a break and study the mountain panorama with and without eternal snow. Above Bugnei we come across a young forest, created by reforestation after the storm Vivian, which is now richer in species than ever. The descent to Sedrun is quite easy.

From Sedrun we return by train to Segnas
