Route to the thundering Höchfall waterfall

The trail first crosses the village of Teufen, then passes Grubenmann church before soon leaving the main road on the right. After a short climb, the path descends via Umfahrungsstrasse to Wonnenstein monastery.Walkers are tempted to stop off for a cool swim by the sound of running water. The footpath leads through a clearing along the edge of the trees, then descends steeply down steps and stairs in the forest as far as the Höchfall waterfall. You can return to Teufen afterwards via the cemetery.
