Description
The Turrahuus is an ideal place to spend the night and a great starting point. At the beginning, the trail climbs steeply uphill along the old pass path. The route continues along the broad NE shoulder to Rotflua. At P.2561, the subsequent SE ridge becomes narrower and narrower and is partly interspersed with rocks. It is often blown off and requires some attention. The ridge can be a challenge, especially on the descent.
But the reward comes at the summit. The view of the Bünder mountains and far beyond is simply magnificent. The descent is also magnificent. As soon as you leave the aforementioned ridge, perfect ski slopes await you that you won't forget in a hurry. If conditions are safe, you can also ski down the steep eastern slopes shortly after the summit.
