Pater Maurus Carnot Trail (W11)

This themed trail begins at the "Samnaun-Laret, Dorf" stop, by the house where Father Maurus Carnot was born. First it goes along the Laret and Welschdörflistrasse, past the end point of the remaining downhill run no. 60 down to the Shell petrol station. The leisurely walk then continues along the Talstrasse and then along the Bachweg, the Schergenbach.  The destination in Samnaun-Plan is not far away: the «Chasa Retica Museum», the oldest house in Samnaun. This country lane from the Trua bridge to Plan invites you to hike and walk in summer and winter. A total of 17 informative panels present the life of the important Samnauner. The panels are attached to the light poles, thanks to the lighting you can still walk along this memorial path in the evening.
