Hikers who have arrived at Alp Languard have the tough choice: Should it be a more challenging excursion to one of the surrounding mountain huts or a leisurely hike on the Paradis route including the Paradis hut? On this enjoyable route with a beautiful view of the Bernina massif, marmots are not uncommon, and with a bit of luck and a keen eye, one or two ibexes can be spotted in the rocks. Tip: a stop at the benches is worth it. Because on the information boards attached to the seven benches from Alp Languard towards Chamanna Paradis, hikers can read humorous anecdotes about the ibex from the Pontresina gamekeeper Daniel Godli.
