Panoramic hike from Grindelwald First via Bachalpsee to the Faulhorn

This hike impresses with magnificent views of the Schreckhorn group and the catchment area of the two Grindelwald glaciers. A deep blue mountain lake, in which the mighty peaks of the Bernese four-thousand-metre peaks are reflected, make this tour particularly attractive.

From First, a well-maintained hiking trail leads gently up and down to the shores of the idyllic Bachalpsee. Behind it, the trail climbs along the so-called Säumerpfad towards the Burgihütte. Passing small mountain huts, you reach the Gassenboden. Continue to your final destination with a few hairpin bends - the Faulhorn mountain hotel.
