Orchid hiking trail in Flims

The "Via alva" is a much used three-quarter hour hiking trail from "Flims-Waldhaus" to "Conn", where there is a restaurant and nearby is the well-known viewing platform "il Spir" above the Rhine gorge "Ruinaulta". At the starting point of the hiking trail, at the large Flims Waldhaus Caumasee car park, there are the entrance days with an overview of the 12 orchid species that grow and blossom along the "Via alva" path between mid-May and mid-September. This is to draw the attention of the interested public to the uniqueness of Flims' nature.
