Description

On the Mostindien Tour you can drive with perfect panoramic view along the Apple Path - across Thurgau. There is a lot to discover. The offer ranges from culinary pleasures to interesting experience paths, museums and castles.

The tour starts at Romanshorn where at the train station the rented bicycle can be easily arranged and offers many experiences. Let's go along Bodensee along the lake resorts in Romanshorn and Altnau, which offer both wonderful cooling down. A short trip to the Show and Teaching Garden in Güttingen and the Apple Path in Altnau are worthwhile, as both offer a lot of information about apples and fruit growing.

The route continues at the Cultural Trail in Münsterlingen further to Kreuzlingen, where many cultural highlights can be explored as well. On the further way to Untersee Arenenberg raises on the left side, on oft the most beautiful spots in Thurgau. Also a visit of the castle steeped in history and the Napoleon Museum should be planned. In Steckborn the tour leaves the shore and after a short ascent the route leads across the Seerücken and eastward along Ottenberg to Weinfelden.

Hint: Who wants to avoid the drive to Seerücken (between Steckborn and Homburg) can drive from Kreuzlingen with the hourly driving S14 (Regional train Thurbo, direction Weinfelden) to Siegershausen. From there you drive approximately one kilometre westward to Alterswilen where you will be on the route again.
