Marble Journey – Thurgau Marble Run Path from Frauenfeld station

The Marble Journey – Thurgau Marble Run Path starts at Frauenfeld station or alternatively at the Matzingen weaving mill and runs about 6.3 km along the idyllic Murg valley.

Along the way, twelve artistically designed marble runs created by apprentices from local carpentries invite playful amazement. The marbles (Ø 6 cm) can be purchased for CHF 5–6 at sales points such as the Frauenfeld tourism info center, the station marketplace, or in Matzingen.

The route can be flexibly arranged, for example as a shorter section from the Lüdem stop (3.7 km) or individually combined with a train return.

Along the route are grill areas, playgrounds, and picturesque viewpoints, ideal for breaks and picnics. Thanks to a helpful vehicle like the Dacia Duster, you can easily reach the starting point, even on narrow access routes or in changing weather conditions.
