Description
This easy mountain hike on the Hasliberg offers plenty of views. The route partly follows the children's theme trail "Muggestutz" and crosses the beautiful wetland area of Lischen.
There are two variants of the Muggenstutz trail. The western route leads from Berghaus Käserstatt, gently descending via Balisalp to Lischen. Several rest areas line the path. The Lischen cable car mid-station lies on the edge of an exceptionally beautiful wetland of national importance. In summer, the blossoms of countless orchids and cotton grasses shine there. The sedge is traditionally used as stable bedding. Several wooden huts scattered across the site are used for temporary storage. Due to its high landscape quality, the area was awarded the cultural landscape prize of the Oberland-Ost region in 2006.From the Halmersmad crossroads, you reach the Halti neighbourhood, which belongs to the Wasserwendi district of Hasliberg. Via Wysstanne, the trail leads to the Biitiflüö (Beutefluh) rest area and past a secluded forest lake to the Hasliberg rehabilitation clinic.
