Description

At the time when the young Inn could still meander freely through the wide plain, the valley floor between Bever and La Punt Chamues-ch was a single large swamp overgrown with bushes and alders. The main road did not run in a straight line through the plain as it does today, but had to be routed along the foot of the slope of the Crasta Mora. The Crasta Mora is criss-crossed by faults and fractures. There are no streams in the south-southeastern Crasta Mora. Only at the foot of the slope are there major water outlets, three of which feed water reservoirs and one of which is blocked. Halfway along the trail, roughly where the old cantonal road crosses the railway line, the "Las Agnas da Bever" inn already stood several hundred years ago.

The hike starts and ends at the Bever railway station.
