Lake Staz

Start/finish is Pontresina railway station. From the train station, follow the parking lot until the hiking trail begins. Go under the railway underpass and follow this path uphill. At the next signpost turn right towards Lake Staz. Follow the wide forest paths through the Staz Forest with a slight incline uphill to the picturesque Lake Staz (Lej da Staz). The trail follows the lake for a short while and then descends through the woods again to the "Punt Muragl" railway station. From here on, follow the tracks on a flat forest path back to Pontresina.
