Hochtal Bargis (250)

This technically easy tour leads up to the high valley of Bargis. After the start in Flims, you first take the asphalt road via the Walser village of Fidaz past the mighty rock faces of the Flimserstein up to Bargis. The Berghaus Bargis serves the best fruit cake in the region. At the ebike charging station, the ebike can be conveniently charged before the last climb of the tour. After the well-deserved refreshment, the tour continues on a natural road through the picturesque high valley. The path leads along the mighty Flimserstein across the plateau, then slowly climbs and ends at Alp Rusna. Behind the alp Rusna, on the left, there is the narrow, gorge-like entrance to the "cathedral". A footpath leads along the stream through the steep rock walls. Two waterfalls cascading down from the high pulpit mark this unique natural monument.The descent is on the same path as the ascent, on the descent from Barigs to Flims you have to watch out for oncoming traffic!

The tour is suitable for beginners with and without e-bikes. Safe riding on gravel paths is a prerequisite.
