Haldi-Schilt (UR)

Take the cable car from Schattdorf up to Haldi. On this sunny terrace, enjoy views of Lake Urnersee and the Alps during the hike. On the way to Schilt, we pass the Schilt chapel, very popular with bridal couples. The architecture somewhat resembles the stave churches from Norway. Along the way, there are lovely picnic spots with barbecue facilities and playgrounds for children. Upon reaching the southernmost point - Schilt - it is worthwhile to take a break to enjoy the panoramic views of the Alps and the Urner valley with Lake Urnersee. On the return, enjoy the hike over fields and through the forest back to the Haldi mountain station.
