Greina “Alpin” - The demanding one

Description
The journey to Val Sumvitg on the “Bus alpin” is fantastic in itself. At the “Tenigerbad” bus stop, sightseeing soon comes to an end. Without breaking in, the route now climbs steeply over the Alp Vallesa to the Medelserhütte. The hut is known for its phenomenal sunsets.
The second day takes the alpine hikers over the Lavaz glacier, which is often completely covered and largely free of crevasses, and on over the Fuorcla Sura da Lavaz to the Passo della Greina. Now you can enjoy the Greina plateau to the full as far as the Terri hut.
The third day begins with the “Punt la Greina” suspension bridge. Once you have crossed it, you can now take on the ascent to the Diesrut Pass in your hiking boots. The descent via Puzzatsch is then just a bonus. The reserved Alpin bus is waiting here, or another hour's walk to the overnight accommodation in Vrin.
On the fourth day, it gets lonely again. Hardly anyone knows the hiking trail over Alp Cavel and Fuorcla da Cavel. The landscape here is particularly barren and quiet. The idyllic mountain lake Lag Grond might invite you to take a very short refreshing dip. Could be! If you haven't yet had a “knee-snapper”, you might get one on the final descent. From the small Cugn Sut hut onwards, the altitude metres just melt away. But now you've almost made it. In three kilometers you are back in Tenigerbad. Happy and perhaps a little tired.
