From Seewis up to the peak of the mountain Vilan

This hiking route takes you from Seewis village past wonderful meadows and grazing land to the border of the woodland and further up. A first highlight is Sadreinegg which offers a fantastic panorama into Prättigau and the alps of Sweewis and Maienfeld. A perfect time for this tour are May and June because of all the wonderful flowers. Seewis is famous for its narcissus but then there are also all the different types of the anemones as well as the gentians to admire. On your way up to the peak of Vilan (2375 m) you might get the chance to observe some marmots and chamois. The Vilan is the vantage point in the front of thePrättigau.
