Description
The tour starts with the descent from the Forno hut to the Forno glacier. From here you head southwards along the eastern edge of the glacier until you can turn left towards Cima di Val Bona. Shortly before reaching the top, turn right to reach the Passo Vazzeda (2965 m). The descent on the Italian side of the pass begins with a short steep slope and then leads over soft, wide slopes to the north-east. You pass the eastern ridge of the Cima di Val Bona just to the right and finally turn northwards into Val Bona. At about 2370 m you prepare for the second ascent, which leads up to the Sella del Forno. Downhill you get back to the Forno hut.
