Circular hike in the footsteps of Schellen-Ursli

The children's story "Schellen-Ursli" was written in Guarda and is also set here. The circular hike leads from Guarda via Bos-cha to Ardez and offers a sweeping view over Ardez towards Tarasp with the castle in front of the mighty Lower Engadine Dolomites. Sur En d'Ardez is already clearly visible on the other side of the valley. This is where the tour leads after crossing the Inn below Ardez. Most of the footage for the film "Schellen-Ursli" was shot in Sur En d'Ardez in winter 2014/15. Even though the film sets have since disappeared and given way to the original village, Schellen-Ursli fans in Sur En will immediately recognize the Engadin village from the film. At the western end of Sur En, the tour leads through the forest and across clearings to below Giarsun, where the Inn is crossed again. Several scenes from the film were also shot in Giarsun. The church served as the backdrop for a central scene in the film. After visiting the church, you can either walk up to Guarda or take the Postbus from the train station back to the starting point of the tour.
