Between the source of the Rhine and the Rhine Gorge (Road)

From Ilanz, we mostly take the main road to Tavanasa. Now it's time to get down to business. After a short time, we leave the steeply ascending road towards Brigels and take the narrow road with great views via Capeder to the mountain village of Schlans. You can fill up with water at the village fountain and prepare for the descent to Trun. The ride on the main road is over after around five kilometers, and with it the leisurely roll. The side road via Axastein leads us to the well-known vacation region of Obersaxen. The roads are not very busy, allowing time to enjoy the beautiful views of the Surselva mountains. If you want to eat in a restaurant, there are plenty of options here. After a short ride, you'll be back in Ilanz, where you can cycle through the beautiful old town.
