Bergstation Rinerhorn - Rinerhorngipfel - Rinerhorn Bergstation

The route starts at the mountain station of the Rinerhorn. Directly on the right at the exit of the station you should already see the signpost in the direction of the petting zoo, you have to walk in this direction. Pass the petting zoo and turn right onto the hiking trail in the direction of the Nüllisch ski lift. At the top station of the Nüllisch ski lift the trail becomes a bit stonier. You follow the exciting path over the ridge in the direction of Marchhüerli and further on to the Rinerhorn summit. The highest point is reached! The trail over the ridge is slightly exposed, but never in dangerous terrain.

From the Rinerhorn the trail then descends towards the Hubelhütte, just before the hut the trail becomes a driveway. From the Hubelhütte, the trail then continues in the direction of Äbirügg. At the Äbirügg barbecue site, the final spurt follows on a slightly sloping road back to the Rinerhorn mountain station. We made it! The terrace of the Jatzmeder mountain restaurant is then ideal for a small reward.
