Aare-Emme circuit

Via Zuchwil, you climb up and past the castle of the same name to Bleichenberg. The view is magnificent, looking out onto the town and region. The Hotel Weissenstein can be seen high up on the Jura heights. On entering Derendingen, you will reach the renatured Emme river. You’ll then walk along the eastern bank to Luterbach. Barbecue areas will tempt you to take a long break. Cross the river in front of the waste incineration plant and shortly afterwards meet the Aare river at Emmenspitz. The Attisholz development area can be seen on the opposite bank. You’ll then walk along the southern bank of the Aare in the direction of Solothurn. Shortly before reaching your destination, the Zuchwil sports centre will tempt you in for a relaxing treat.
