5 - Sunnbüel - Unders Tatelishore

From the mountain station of the Kandersteg-Sunnbüel cable car, the summit cross of the Undere Tatelishore can be seen well. However, the trail first leads down to the Spittelmatte and then left along the Schwarzbach to the end of the meadow. From there, the path leads through coniferous forests and alpine roses up until you reach the intermediate level. Time to rest. You often encounter sheep here.

There are usually old snow remnants in the gully until late into the summer. After the gully, catch your breath again and have a short drink. The final ascent to the Hore is really steep. However, the trail has hardly any steps, and you can focus well on yourself and your steps. The reward is a magnificent panoramic view over Kandersteg, the Gasterntal, Sunnbüel, and the Spittelmatte.
