2 - Circular route Sunnbüel - Spittelmatte

From the Sunnbüel mountain station, the trail runs southwards along the foot of the Üschinen ridge. In good weather, you have a wonderful view of the adjacent 3000-meter peaks Altels and Rinderhorn. In the Spittelmatte area, a short descent leads to the namesake alpine hut that invites you to linger. The return route over the plateau passes the cross-country ski trail and the winter hiking trails.
