Description
Attention, the feeder trails are two-way and partly shared with winter hikers.
From the Sunnbüel mountain station, past the information board for cross-country skiers, it first goes below the Gemmiweg toward Gemmipass.
At the junction Gemmiweg, Godi & Kari children's hiking trail as well as Altelsblickweg, the Sunnbüel feeder trail divides.
Down to the left, it goes via the feeder "Unteri Matte" to the cross-country hut Spittelmatte (about 600 m and 60 m altitude difference). Starting point for the beautiful high-altitude trails on the Spittelmatte in a breathtaking mountain world. Cross-country skiers with good downhill technique can ride the steep descent on the feeder trail. For less skilled skiers, however, it is recommended to walk down the first steep descent on the feeder trail on foot. In a few minutes you are on the Spittelmatte and at the cross-country hut (and walking back up on foot also takes less than 10 minutes).
Down to the right first goes to the practice area Wintertäli and the short beginner trail. Past this, it goes over the feeder "Oberi Matte" up to the 2 km long Altesblick loop (about 600 m and 32 m altitude difference).
