Winter trail running: Samedner sunny hillside

From the Muntarütsch shooting range (with parking facilities) the route leads over Quadrellas - on an asphalt road, but with a beautiful view to the Bernina massif, to the church of San Peter above Samedan where the real trails start. A short descent to the valley station of the Survih ski lift paves the way towards the Cristolais hut on a specially milled winter footpath. This path cannot be walked on in summer as it would lead across a lush green meadow. From the Cristolais turning point, the trail runs parallel to the Marguns-Samedan downhill slope back to the Survih ski lift station, which in this direction marks the starting point of the crisp ascent towards "Sur San Peter". Once you have reached the culmination point after overcoming a height difference of 102 metres, the trail descends gently back to the Muntarütsch shooting range.
