From the monastery - to the church - to the castle

The tour starts at the monastery parking lot in St. Urban. After just a few minutes you reach the dirt track. On the path between forest and fields, you reach the Sagi in Roggwil. Turn right there (old waterwheel) and walk straight ahead - first through Walliswil (municipality of Murgenthal) then continue along the dirt track through the Oberaargau emerald region. You soon reach Murgenthal. Before the wooden bridge, turn left and then immediately right to reach the Aare riverside path. As far as Aarwangen, you will find beautiful beaches for a picnic or a short break. The path leads you directly to Aarwangen Castle.
