Vitznau - Freibergen - Rigi First - Rigi Kaltbad

From the Vitznau boat station, walk to the main road and turn left as far as the regional museum. Turn right here into Zihlstrasse. At about the level of the boat harbour, the path branches off to the right. In Mittlerschwanden you cross the tracks of the cogwheel railway and continue up via Gruebisbalm to Freibergen. Here you leave the rack railway track and climb up to the right via Ober Äbnet to Rigi First. From Rigi First, take the panoramic path to Rigi Kaltbad.
