Valbella Rundtour

Description
It takes some muscle power to get to the top of Valbella (which means beautiful valley), but it's worth it. And how: You are surrounded by a rugged, high alpine landscape, with the rugged mountains of the Swiss National Park on one side and the Ortler and Königsspitze glaciers on the other. And with a bit of luck, you might even spot a chamois or bearded vulture.
The tour starts at Süsom Givè on the Ofen Pass, which can also be reached by PostBus. Bikes are transported (reservation required). This is followed by a steep ascent (350 metres) on forest roads, crossing the entire Minschuns ski area.
The highest point, the hill of Valbella, is 2500 metres above sea level. From there, a long singletrail leads back to the top of the Ofenpass. The trail winds along steep limestone flanks and (in early summer) through magnificent flower meadows. It is very easy to ride, but has some technical and exposed sections.
