Description
With a total of seven mountain railway rides, the ascents on this circular tour are overcome quickly and comfortably - leaving more stamina for the many first-class single trail descents. The tour starts at the Jatzmeder on the Rinerhorn. From there, the tour leads along the Alps Epic Trail - the only trail in Switzerland that has been designated an Epic Trail by the IMBA - to the beautiful Walser village of Monstein. From Monstein we return via Spina to the Rinerhorn valley station. The gondola takes us back up the mountain in no time. From there, a great trail leads over the Grabatobel forest down to Höfji. Over the Junkerboden it goes to the Jakobshorn cable car. From the Jakobshorn mountain station you follow the technical trail and the flow trail - the so-called "Kügelibahn" - 1,000 metres in altitude down to the Bolgen area. Next, the Parsennbahn awaits, which takes us up to the Weissfluhjoch at over 2,600 metres above sea level. From here, follow the next great single trail past the Parsennhütte to the Gotschnagrat. The Chalbersäss trail then leads down to Klosters, where the Gotschna cable car takes us right back up. From Gotschnaboden, another first-class single trail leads to Lake Davos. On the last few metres to the train station Davos Dorf, you can look back on this unique enduro tour.
