SwitzerlandMobility 2: Rhine Route Section 6 (Kreuzlingen - Schaffhausen)

From Kreuzlingen, the first part of this stage leads along Untersee past Gottlieben and Ermatingen. A detour to the elevated Arenenberg is a great way to enjoy the breathtaking view. This must have fascinated Napoleon the Third when he settled here. Don't miss out on a visit to the Napoleon Museum here.

The route continues to Stein am Rhein. The small town with its colourfully painted facades around the town hall square attracts many tourists every year.

Finally, the route leads along the northern bank of the Rhine to the stage destination of Schaffhausen. You will be greeted from afar by the Munot, the fortress that towers over the town of Schaffhausen.
