Stechelberg-Sefinen valley-Rotstock hut-Mürren

After x years of hiking tourism in the Alps, every trail has been discovered and there are no more secrets with all the web portals. Wrong! In Mürren there are actually still a few of these Hidden Gems. The combination of the lush and species-rich flora with the breathtaking view of the snow-covered Bernese Alps guarantees uniquely beautiful hiking experiences.

The hike begins at the post bus station in Stechelberg. The first few metres in altitude are quickly overcome thanks to the rather steep terrain. Along the Sefinen Lütschine, the hiking trail winds through the forest towards the hut. As soon as the timberline is overcome, the snow-covered peaks of the Bernese Alps appear. A look back is always worthwhile. Delicious food, the unique panorama and the friendly Rotstockhütten team invite you to linger. The way back via Bryndli is another highlight of the hike. The descent from the summit is steep. Caution is advised in wet conditions.
