Murtèl middle station - Alpetta - Corvatsch valley station, Surlej

The trail starts between the Murtèl middle station and the Alp Surlej chairlift (only in operation in winter). The view of the Upper Engadin lake plateau is fabulous. A mountain trail leads in little twists and turns to the first crossroads. The trail continues to the left, gently descending to Margun Surlej with the Alpetta restaurant. Here you can enjoy the view of the sparkling lakes and the mountain panorama for the last time, as the nature trail soon leads into the larch forest and then to Alp Surlej. Alp Surlej is managed and there is also a chance to stop for refreshments. Back in the larch forest, the last section leads to the Surlej valley station. The route can of course also be followed in reverse.
