Riedli valley station to the Wiriehorn mountain hotel

The easy hike leads you first to the village of Entschwil, where magnificent witnesses of Simmental carpentry await you, built in the period from 1700 to today. It is worthwhile to linger a bit and have a look around the village. After a section through the forest, a wonderful panoramic view of the middle and rear Diemtigtal with its scattered settlements and mountains opens up to you.

How do I get back to the starting point after the hike? After a refreshment on the sun terrace of the Berghotel Wiriehorn, the comfortable and panoramic ride with the chair lift down to the valley is just the thing. The push scooter route also leads from the mountain station directly down into the valley and provides variety and a fresh breeze. Those who prefer to walk downhill: The hike is also well walkable in reverse order.
