Schaffhausen - Rhine Falls - Zurzach - Waldshut

If you have time, you might want to start with a visit to the old town of Schaffhausen. Afterwards, a visit to the Rhine Falls is of course a must and perhaps you'll take a boat to the Rheinfelsn in the middle of the river? Continue to the picturesque Klettgau and from there back to the Rhine to Bad Zurzach. We now choose mainly natural paths along the Rhine. If you prefer to cycle on cycle paths, you can adapt the route yourself. We definitely recommend the ride through the "Chly Rhy Rietheim" floodplain landscape with its many viewing and observation platforms. From Bad Zurzach onwards, there are also many barbecue and rest areas that invite you to linger. In Koblenz we cross back into Germany and are already in Waldshut. After the last short but steep climb from the Rhine to the center of Waldshut, we are rewarded with the beautiful old town.
